On Saturday 30th March 2024, Stuart VK7FADZ, a radio amateur from the island of Tasmania, Australia reached the summit of Ben Nevis and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 4 contacts in total working on the 40m amateur radio band.
The summit of Ben Nevis 1368 metres (4488 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
