On Friday 31st March 2023, Compton VK2HRX, a radio amateur from the state of New South Wales reached the summit of Blue Rag Range and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 21 contacts in total working on the 23cm, 2m and 40m amateur radio bands.
