On Wednesday 27th March 2024 at 13:18 UTC, Francois ON4LO, a radio amateur from Belgium, made contact with Jarmo OH2CGU/P, a radio amateur from Finland, who was operating from Brännängbergetin luonnonsuojelualue (OHFF-1580), on the 20m amateur radio band. Jarmo made a total of 94 contacts while he was at the reserve.
Brännängbergetin luonnonsuojelualue (OHFF-1580), is a protected area of 14 hectares lying to the north-east of Helsinki in the south of Finland. It was designated in 1987 as a State Nature Reserve.
