On Sunday 16th July 2023, Manuel HB9DQM/P and Beni HB9HNT/P, two radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Bristen and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 103 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m, 30m and 20m and amateur radio bands.

The summit of Bristen is 3073 metres (10082 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
