On Wednesday 13th July 2022 Bruno F6HHK/P a radio amateur from France reached the summit of Cîme de Caron and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 16 contacts in total working on the 30 and 40 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Cîme de Caron is 3193 metres (10476 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
