On Sunday 2nd July 2023, Mique EA2EUS/P, a radio amateur from Spain reached the summit of Campos Blancos and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 6 contacts in total working on the 2m amateur radio band.
The summit of Campos Blancos is 2057 metres (6749 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
