On Sunday 11th September 2022, four radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Cima de Nomnom and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 62 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40, 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Cima de Nomnom is 2633 metres (8638 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
