On Thursday 10th August 2023, Manuel HB9DQM/P, a radio amateur from Switzerland, reached the summit of Cima dei Cogn and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 54 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m, 30m and 20m amateur radio bands.
