On Wednesday 20th July 2022 Dave HB3YNL/P a radio amateur from Wales reached the summit of Piz d’Arbeola and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 17 contacts in total working on the 15 metre HF amateur radio band.
