On Monday 8th August 2022 Mique EA2EUS/P a radio amateur from Spain reached the summit of Comodoto and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

Mique made 45 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Comodoto is 2356 metres (7730 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
