On Tuesday 11th July 2023, Christophe F5UBH/P, a radio amateur from France reached the summit of Crête du Peyron and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 23 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m and 20m and amateur radio bands.
The summit of Crête du Peyron is 2642 metres (8668 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
