On Sunday 16th October 2022, Igor 9A/IV3NGF, a radio amateur from the Friuli – Venezia Giulia (special-statute Region) of Italy reached the summit of Crni vrh and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 28 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 60, 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Crni vrh is 1342 metres (4403 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
