On Tuesday 16th August 2022, Ronnie W8RKJ a radio amateur from Mount Pleasant, SC reached the summit of Devils Tater Patch and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 8 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
