On Friday 29th September 2023, Adam K7AMJ, a radio amateur from Centerfield, UT reached the summit of East Mountain and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 5 contacts in total working on the 20m and 15m amateur radio bands.
The summit of East Mountain is 3274 metres (10741 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
