On Thursday 29th June 2023, Steve OE8TIR/P & Harald OE8DSQ/P, two radio amateurs from Austria reached the summit of Edigon and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
They made 8 contacts in total working on the 2m amateur radio band.
The summit of Edigon is 2511 metres (8238 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
