On Wednesday 11th October 2023, Reinhard OE7RGF/P, a radio amateur from Austria, reached the summit of Egger Muttekopf and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 8 contacts in total working on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Egger Muttekopf is 2311 metres (7582 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
