Yuriko Koike is a Japanese politician , who was the Minister of Defense in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe , but resigned August 27 , 2007 after only 54 days in office. She is a member of the House of Representatives of Japan for Tokyo's 10th district.
