On Saturday 22nd July 2023, Elena LZ1ENE/P, a radio amateur from Bulgaria reached the summit of Ezerni and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
Elena made 11 contacts in total working on the 2m amateur radio band.
The summit of Ezernik is 2485 metres (8153 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
