On Tuesday 28th June 2022 Eric AD6VT a radio amateur from Bishop, CA reached the summit of False White Mountain and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 9 contacts in total working on the 40 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of False White Mountain is 3658 metres (12001 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
