On Friday 14th July 2023, HB9CLY/P, a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Fleckistock / Rot Stock and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 11 contacts in total working on the 70cm and 40m amateur radio bands.
