Former Wadhams Gas Station

Former Wadhams Gas Station (StreetView)
Architect Alexander Eschweiler designed over 100 of these Japanese tea house-style buildings for the Wadhams Oil & Grease Company of Milwaukee from 1917-30. They were of different sizes and floor plans, but all of them had the distinct red pagoda roof. This particular building was made in 1926 and is currently home to a jewelry store.
