On Monday 26th September 2022, Paul N1ZF, a radio amateur from Wiilington, CT reached the summit of Glade Mountain and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 41 contacts in total working on the 40, 30, 20, 17 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Glade Mountain is 1248 metres (4094 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
