Megabus "Megasaurous" No.54290 YX67 UPT has a Volvo B11RT chassis with Plaxton Elite Interdeck CH71/2DT configured bodywork. It was delivered new to Stagecoach (South Wales) in 2017.
The Plaxton Elite i ("Interdeck") body type was designed specifically for Volvo's B11RT chassis and has a passenger cabin which extends above the driver's cab and spans the full length of the vehicle; the Elite i additionally has a small lower saloon.
Here on Street View No. 54290 is seen on Great Bridgewater Street in central Manchester starting its journey to Cardiff in South Wales via Birmingham.
Megabus which was founded in August 2003 and is now part of Scottish Citylink operates a large network of intercity coach routes in the UK.
