The Britons Protection on Great Bridgewater Street in Manchester city centre, has been rated by Camera as a pub with a 3 star pub interior of special national historic interest.

The Britons Protection is listed by Historic England as a Grade II Listed Building.

The original Georgian building was extensively altered around 1930 and much of the tiling and woodwork remains. As for example, the bar counter and dado tiling in the public bar.
