On Thursday 4th August 2022 Alex DL2GWZ/P a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Kandel and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 8 contacts in total working on the 12 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Kandel is 1241 metres (4072 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
