On Tuesday 19th July 2022 Clemens DD2TC/P a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Obereck and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 52 contacts in total working on the 60, 40, 30 and 20 HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Obereck is 1177 metres (3862 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
