Lock 12 – Llangollen Canal

This is one of the locks on the Llangollen Canal which is known as Willeymoor Lock.

The 44 mile (72km) long Llangollen Canal links Llangollen in Wales with Hurleston in the unitary authority of Cheshire East, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, in England. At Hurleston there is a junction with the Shropshire Union Canal.

The lock-keeper’s cottage alongside the lock has been converted into a pub called “Willeymoor Lock Tavern”.
