Mont Pèlerin TV Tower

The Mont Pèlerin TV Tower is the only TV tower of Switzerland equipped with an observation deck, which is accessible by an elevator. It is situated on the Mont Pèlerin in the area of Chardonne, north of Vevey. The observation deck of the tower, which was built between 1972 and 1974, is accessible by an elevator with glass walls and is situated at a height of 64.3 meters on the roof of the concrete construction of the tower. In contrast to most other TV towers, this observation platform was not there from the beginning. It was installed in 1995.
