On Monday 1st August 2022 Carine HB9FZC and Rene HB9NBG/P two radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Mont Telliers and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
They made 30 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40 and 20 amateur radio bands.
The summit of Mont Telliers is 2951 metres (9681 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
