On Thursday 28th July 2022 Colwyn I/M0YCJ/P a radio amateur from Scotland reached the summit of Monte Emilius / Mont Émilius and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 16 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Bett Monte Emilius / Mont Émilius is 2872 metres (9423 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
