On Saturday 1st October 2022, Claudio IX1IHR /P, a radio amateur from Italy reached the summit of Monte Nebin – CIMA Sudest and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 31 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Monte Nebin – Cima Sudest is 2514 metres (8248 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
