On Thursday 3rd November 2022, Robert AC1Z, a radio amateur from Alton, NH reached the summit of Mount Moosilauke and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 44 contacts in total working on the 40, 30, 20, 17 and 10 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Mount Moosilauke is 1464 metres (4803 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
