On Thursday 30th June 2022 Lor W6LOR a radio amateur from La Canada, CA reached the summit of Mount Starr and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
Lor made 19 contacts in total working on the 40, 20 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Mount Starr is 3912 metres (12835 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database
