On Friday 7th July 2023, Arthur HB9CEV/P, a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Piz Sarsura Pitschen and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 67 contacts in total working on the 60m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 12m and 10m amateur radio bands.
