On Monday 27th June 2022 Martin OE5REO/P a radio amateur from Austria, reached the summit of Narrenspitze and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
Martin made 44 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and 10,15, 20 and 40 metre amateur radio bands.
The summit of Narrenspitze 2336 metres (7664 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups data base.
