Nature and Landscape complex Dolina rzeki Sapolnej (The Sąpólna River Valley) (SPFF-2513)

On Saturday 23rd March 2024 at 12:20 UTC, Lacy YO6CFB, a radio amateur from Romania made contact with Krzysztof SP1MVG/P, a radio amateur from Poland who was operating from The Nature and Landscape complex Dolina rzeki Sapolnej (The Sąpólna River Valley) (SPFF-2513) on the 20m amateur radio band.

The Nature and Landscape complex The Sąpólna River Valley (SPFF-2513), is a protected area of 322.8800 hectares located in Goleniowski county, Nowograd, West Pomerania, Poland. It was designated as a Nature and Landscape Complex in 2007.

The area was established to protect the valuable river landscape which has many species of trees growing along the river bank including alder. There are also areas of both semi-natural and managed meadows and pastureland which is rich in biodiversity.
