On Saturday 16th March 2024 at 15:27 UTC, Jacek SQ8IJR a radio amateur from Poland made contact with Radoslaw SQ8HND/P a radio amateur also from Poland who was operating from Nature Reserve Struga Dobieszkowska (SPFF-0942) on the 40m amateur radio band.
Nature Reserve Struga Dobieszkowska (SPFF-0942) is a protected area of 40 hectares of forest north-east of Łódź and south-east of Warsaw. It was designated as a Nature Reserve in 1990 as an IUCN Management Category IV area.
The reserve's goal is to protection and preserve the natural forest landscape within its boundaries.
