North American B-25 Mitchell

The North American B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engine bomber with a bow retractable landing gear and a double vertical tail area, used during World War II. Eight aircraft were lost during transport from Alaska to Siberia.

The USSR received a total of 862 B-25s from the United States under Lend-Lease during World War II.

One B-25 aircraft is on display at the Monin Aviation Museum.
