The summit of La Mira is 2343m (7687 feet) above sea level. It is situated at the centre of the Sierra de Gredos range and is the highest point of the range.

There are two easy routes to the summit of La Mira, one from the south and one from the north. The northern route commences from Platforma de Gredos while the southern route begins from Nogal del Barranco
