On Sunday 14th May 2023, Pedro EA4HCF, a radio amateur from Spain reached the summit of Cabezo de la Solana and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made a total of 9 contacts on the 20m and 17m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Cabezo de la Solana is 2090 metres (6857 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
