On Saturday 13th August 2022, Sabrina HB3XTZ and Rene HB9PIM a couple of radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Pischahorn and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 22 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF amateur radio band.

The summit Pischahorn is 2980 metres (9777 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
