On Saturday 16th July 2022 Tom HB9EVF/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Piz Nair (St. Moritz) and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 28 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and 60, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15 and 12 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of St. Moritz is 3056 metres (10026 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
