On Friday 18th August 2023, Carine HB9FZC/P & Manuel HB9NBG/P, two radio amateurs from Switzerland, reached the summit of Pointe d' Orny and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 17 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.
