On Sunday 26th June 2022 David EA1HIX/P a radio amateur from Leon, Spain, reached the summit of Polvareda and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
David made 13 contacts in total working on the 30, 40 and 20 metre amateur radio bands.
The summit of Polvareda is 2007 metres (6585 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups data base.
