On Thursday 8th June 2023, Peter VE6PFV, a radio amateur from Calgary, AB reached the summit of Mount Richardson and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 4 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Ptarmigan Peak is 3059 metres (10036 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
