On Thursday 28th December 2023, Lorens EA6KB, a radio amateur from Mallorca Is., Spain reached the summit of Puig de Massanella and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 45 contacts in total working on the 2m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Puig de Massanella is 1365 metres (4478 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
