On Saturday 18th November 2023, Llorenç EA6KB and Jaime EA6AOJ, two radio amateurs from Spain, reached the summit of Puig Tomir and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
They made 61 contacts in total working on the 40m, 20m, 17m, 15m and 12m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Puig Tomir is 1103 metres (3619 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
