On Sunday 7th May 2023, Tia YB1TIA/2, a radio amateur from Indonesia reached the summit of Puncak Triangulasi and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made a total of 11 contacts on the 2m amateur radio band.
The summit of Puncak Triangulasi is 3145 metres (10318 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
