Punkt 2870 (Maisas) (HB/GR-380)

On Wednesday 3rd August 2022 Arthur HB9CEV/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Punkt 2870 (Maisas) and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 38 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Punkt 2870 (Maisas) is 2870 metres (9416 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
