On Tuesday 18h July 2023, Juerg HB9BIN/P & Hans HB9BQU/P, two radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Punkt 3383 beim Tieralplistock and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
They made 33 contacts in total working on the 2m and 40m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Punkt 3383 beim Tieralplistock is 3383 metres (11099 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
